Minimum tackiness. PF Performance Base is the first step in the ProFormance Hockey Waxing process and offers superior adhesion to either tape or directly to the blade. PF Performance Base acts to prevent snow/ice from building up on the stick blade while providing a waterproofing layer of protection for the tape. PF Performance Base can be used by itself if you are looking to protect your stick and tape with minimal tackiness. For added control, use PF Pro Control or PF Max Control over PF Performance Base.

Apply PF Stik Grip over a thin coat of PF Performance Base on your stick handle for a firm, stiff grip. This wax is heat-activated and will give you the extra grip you need to improve your stick handling without leaving residue on your gloves. Can be applied directly to stick shaft or over tape.
