- Similar to the rest of the 2019 Vapor stick family the new Vapor 2X features a low-kick point, providing players with an advantage in release speed. This low kick design is ideal for players who more often take quick motion shots, such as in close to the net, and rely on speed over power. Some of the carry over technologies from the top of the line Flylite stick are found on the Vapor 2X to enhance the quick release Vapor has become known for.
- One of the new technologies on the Vapor 2X stick is the XE taper. With a unique elliptical geometry, this updated taper design provides more stability in the blade, a softer area in the hosel, and a reduced overall weight by limiting the amount of carbon fiber layers needed in this area. This new design combines to enhance the low kick point construction and give players more stability and responsiveness without sacrificing the quick release they need.
- The Vapor 2X construction features a unique blend of high end composites using Bauer’s high performance mold technology. The HP Mold provides a balanced energy transfer through the entire stick, from shaft to blade, to give you a true one-piece feel, enhancing the overall performance of the stick to improve your shooting, passing, and stick handling. In the Vapor 2X stick you will find 3K composite construction on the shaft, with 12K composite construction on the MaxBalance blade.
- One of the high-performance features of the unique Bauer Vapor 2X Stick is the upgrade to a 12K MaxBalance blade to provide reduced weight and an even more balanced feel. The high end blade strategically layers added carbon fiber for more strength without weighing down the stick, while also reinforcing the edges for increased durability.
